Friends, I want to talk to you today about the ‘tactics of the devil’. Friends, Satan is always reinventing himself, he is always looking for ways to discredit Jesus and everything Jesus stands for and friends he is mighty dangerous.
I would like to start by saying it is very important to understand that it is the devil in your ear. I would like to establish today how to tell the difference between God’s ministering angels and Satan’s, and friends I cannot stress enough how important it is to tell the difference. We will expand on this deceit of Satan today but in a nutshell Satan uses truth and subtly turns it into deceit. So while what he is ‘saying’ may ring true trust me my friends, he has used God’s words against Him and turned it into deceit and friends he is so crafty many people cannot tell the difference and too late they are rolled by the devil. The devil delights in these ‘victories’ and he laughs in the face of Jesus’ angels, but today we are going to ‘set the record straight’ and help you to distinguish between the lies of Satan and the truth of Jesus. So let’s jump right in.
Friends, Jesus loves us very much. I have mentioned this frequently in other letters of mine already on the internet but I like to re-enforce it every time I write. I am very close to my Saviour and His love for us knows no bounds, I have personally felt His saving grace and I love Him dearly, I am really looking forward to His heavenly home promised to us and I thank Him daily for the sacrifices He has made for us. But today I am on a mission to expose the devil completely in regard to his lying, deceitful tactics.
Friends, Jesus knows our pain, He is always watching, caring and He is not unmindful to our cares and suffering. Jesus always has someone by our side, supporting, strengthening and whispering encouragement into our ears, but friends Satan also is ‘looking’ out for us. Unfortunately Satan is only bent on our destruction and he will twist anything Jesus says and turn it against Him. Let’s take a closer look into the workings of the devil so we can understand how he works, then hopefully with understanding under our belt we will be better equipped to face the devil head on and refute his accusations.
Firstly friends it is of the uttermost importance to understand that it is the devil in your ear. Some utterances of the devil are easy to distinguish and I can ‘hear’ you trying to tell him (Satan) where to go, he (Satan again) hears it too and it delights him when we react to his insinuations. Friends, it is important that we get this, I can see you struggling with it (we all do). Here it is in a nutshell – the devil is using this technique to keep us in a state of distress. It is a relatively new technique that he has developed and he has succeeded so far in sending many people mad, they have lost control of their mind and gone on to kill, rape and maim many innocent people.
(Friends, I want to put a disclaimer in here, please, please if you are not a believer or just don’t understand in the workings of angels I encourage you to open your minds to the working of the spirit world. I have plenty of letters on this internet site explaining the existence of the spirit world and how it works and I encourage you to start with those as I don’t want to ‘put you off’ believing altogether. As I have mentioned the devil is really crafty and I don’t want him to destroy your mind before we get started, remember friends, the devil is always in the detail.)
So let’s continue in our endeavours to ‘unmask’ the devil.
The devil is now trying to install this technique within us, he now has it so well crafted that many people are falling victim to his traps – please friends resist him. Learn the technique (we will go into it in detail) and recognise the ‘devil in the detail’, then we can resist the devil’s temptations and hold onto Jesus. Let’s just take a quick look at some of Jesus’ promises of assistance.
1st Corinthians 10:13 “… but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
2nd Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Friends, I believe we can all claim these promises. Let’s have a look at another promise of God.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The above Bible verse is very relevant for us today, as we expose the devil and his dirty tactics. Friends I have said it before and I’ll say it again, Jesus really does love us and if we put our hand in His, He will carry us through.
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Friends, Jesus will help us, His promises are sure and His foundation strong. Lean on Him friends, He will carry us through.
Friends, I must say that people who believe in Christ Jesus and His ministering angels, or people who do believe in the spirit world have the advantage here. Satan has sent many people mad with his whisperings into their ears, people hear Satan as ‘voices’ in their head urging them onto destruction and not understanding the spirit world they have gone mad. Don’t get me wrong here, Jesus and His angels were on hand trying desperately to avert the damage, but some people just refuse to listen to the words of life, or they refuse to listen to the council of people Jesus has sent their way. It is sad, and the devil and Jesus are always at odds, the devil to destroy and Jesus to save. But let’s move deeper into how the devil uses truth for deceit.
We all struggle with the insinuations of the devil, he forces them into our minds and it can be a struggle to throw him out. Christians, people believing in the spirit world do have the advantage as we believe the whisperings in our mind are either Satan trying to destroy or Jesus trying to save, but telling the difference can be the difference between depression/madness or life eternal. I am writing today endeavouring to show everyone what the devil is up to at the moment, to unmask his attempt to turn truth into deceit.
So going back to the devil’s latest plan, how it works and how he is implementing it in others. He (Satan) is a angel of war and as earthly governments have their elite, trained troops, so too does Satan. He has trained a ‘elite’ group of his angels and has sent them out with the commission to destroy as many people as possible, and also with the warning not to return into his presence if they fail.
Friends, the devil is using the truth as deceit in this, his current warfare and he is trapping so many souls in his web of truth/deceit. See Jesus uses truth and truth alone, Satan is twisting this truth into deceit. Let’s go to a scenario to explain.
“Let’s call her Sally. Sally worked in marketing. Sally had a working knowledge of Jesus but didn’t fully understand how the angels worked (even some christians of today don’t fully understand how the angels work), she also hadn’t given her heart to Jesus. So Sally’s mother died suddenly leaving Sally alone and holding a small baby. Sally’s partner had left as soon as he realised Sally was pregnant, he didn’t want to be involved in parenting, he only wanted to have fun. Sally was left alone, feeling betrayed and abandoned. Let’s push the pause button here and have a look behind the scenes. The devil is about to make his move to send Sally mad with his newly acquired technique. He (Satan) has already sent the partner away and was involved in the death of her mother. He is preparing the stage to ‘get’ Sally. He (Satan) starts subtly, infiltrating Sally’s mind with doubts, his words are true but he twists them to make Sally look on them as unjust to her, her mother and everything around her. Let’s listen as he whispers deceits into Sally’s mind.
But first we really need to understand how this system works, we must have a full understanding of the ministry of our (Jesus’) angels, good and bad (Satan’s). In the beginning God had a visual relationship with Adam and Eve, they could see Him. But as time progressed and sins were committed man moved further and further away from God till finally very few people walked close enough to God to ‘hear’ Him let alone ‘see’ Him. This made heaven very sad but they weren’t going to ‘give up’ the fight just then, not at all so the Holy Spirit descended in the form of the Comforter.
John 14:26 “But the Comforter, whichis the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name…”
Jesus also sent His angels to communicate with people to direct their minds to heaven or to His agents/pastors/workers nearby and so the battle for life and salvation began. Angels good and bad joined the ‘war of words’, Satan presenting God as a tyrant and a villain, Jesus’ angels discrediting the devil and presenting the truths about our loving and blessed Saviour.
But of late the devil has changed his tactics, he is presenting the ‘truths’ of heaven but twisting them to come across as unjust and hurtful. And this is what we are fighting today.
So back to Sally. The devil was starting his attack and as always he started subtly. He starts by telling Sally how lonely she was, true, then he added how hard it was going to be now all her support people were gone, true again, he talks via the ‘impressions’ heaven set up, meant to be a comfort and support. So Sally is in distress anyway and now the devil is training her mind to be sad and depressed, he keeps going, repeating his first insinuations and adding more, he now goes into detail. How is she going to be able to pay the rent, her baby is going to suffer from neglect etc, true, true, true – but – only as Satan portrays it and this is where the battle for Sally’s sanity begins. See Satan has perfectly depicted the truth but he removes any smidget of hope. So craftily has Satan established this lie that he can now deceive even the very elect into thinking they have been hard done by, cheated, or any lie he wants to use in his efforts to destroy his chosen victim. Satan keeps going. The human mind is very susceptible to impressions, this was designed to be a benefit, so friends, family etc can help people or just benefit in general. For example we ‘impress’ upon our children how to act and behave, we ‘impress’ on a loved one how important they are and so on. Jesus and His angels use it to impress us of the love of Jesus and of His watchcare and compassion but Satan has taken advantage of God’s given gift and he uses it against us. Let’s go back to Sally. Satan has so succeeded in ‘impressing’ Sally that she is now in a deep depression. She goes to counselling for help, bad mistake, but all part of Satan’s plan. Now don’t get me wrong here, there is a very important place for councillors in this world but in this situation Sally has been deceived by Satan. All someone needs to do is direct Sally’s mind back to reality and on to Jesus. If a well-meaning counsellor at this stage offers Sally medication, depending on the dose, Sally could be addicted to it forever as certain medication does alter the mind state. Now once again please don’t get me wrong, there is a very real need for this counselling and medication so please don’t stop reading here, I am not out to destroy the reputation of counsellor or medication, I am only out to expose the devil. It is the devil’s whisperings and impressions in our minds that sends so many people mad.
Let’s go back to Sally, she is depressed and in danger of committing suicide but Jesus is never going to stand by and let the devil ‘toy’ with his victim and this is where the battle for Sally is fought. See Satan is using truth as deceit but Jesus is out to rectify that, as fast as Satan tells Sally how bad things are Jesus steps in with real words of comfort and encouragement. Satan is saying to Sally how alone she is, while Jesus is saying He is there to comfort and help and He will send people to help her. Back and forth the argument goes, in Sally’s case I am happy to say that heaven won out, Jesus sent people to help and Sally accepted Jesus and understood what Satan had been trying to do, but friends many people do not survive and they do fall victim to Satan’s deceptions. Friends this is what we are trying to warn everyone about today, the subtleness of the devil, yes you are hearing the truth but friends listen closer and you will hear the ‘truth’ you are listening to does have a bright side. Yes you are alone but Jesus is closer, yes it may be hard but Jesus will send help, Jesus friends, is always at hand, please turn to Him and let Him help you today.
There are other scenarios that go a lot deeper than Sally and I would like to touch on them lightly today. These ‘scenarios’ go deeply into the spirit world and if you are not a christian or a believer I encourage you to open your mind and learn how these angels work. The spirit world is very real and everyone at some time would have heard from Satan and Jesus both wanting you to walk with them. While Jesus offers us life Satan only has death to offer, but both Jesus and Satan are desperate for you to join their team, remember Jesus offers salvation, Satan, death and destruction.
So let us put our hand in the hand of our Redeemer and our faith in Jesus and reveal more of the devil and his tactics. There are, for the sake of non-believers, angels good and bad. Now Satan isn’t going to admit he is the baddie here, oh no, Satan portrays himself and his angels as angels of light, so the only way we are going to be able to tell the difference is by what they say and what they ‘urge’ us to do. I believe we have all read the story of redemption and I believe we all have a working knowledge of heaven and hell. Yes Lucifer rebelled, was cast out of heaven and became Satan as we know him today, Jesus is the King and is about to reclaim His usurped planet earth. (If you haven’t read this story I encourage you to open your Bibles and read the blessed truths within.) Both sides set about to ‘conquer’ the earth. As we mentioned above angels use ‘impressions’ to communicate with us and now in our day and age this has, by decree of Satan become deadly. Satan has changed his tactics, he is turning what God designed as a blessing into a curse, he is abusing the ‘communication’ system. Let’s put it plainly and simply. You hear ‘voices’ in your head, it is Satan making insinuations against God, he (Satan) uses very real situations in your head and turns them against you and God. Satan also screams through you making you believe those thoughts you just uttered were yours. Please friend trust me they are not. Let’s go to:-
Mathew 16:23 “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”
Here Jesus is rebuking Satan for talking through Peter. This is just one example of how the devil is ‘talking’ through us and making us believe those words are ours. Friends, christians, we are living in a very dangerous age, the devil has had ample time to develop his strategies and he is never more dangerous than what he is today. Now it is very important here that we recognise the ‘devil in the detail’ friends, we must realise just when the devil is ‘talking through us’. We mustn’t believe what he says and it is of all importance that we know that Jesus does know the difference between what we say and what the devil says through us, (after all our angels witness everything) and we are not held accountable for what the devil has to say, but it is all important that we understand what is happening with this war of words going on within our heads. Please friends, recognise it for what it is, believe, put your trust in Jesus, many a soul has been lost to the devil via this trickery, please friends don’t let it be yours.
Friends, I believe it is of uttermost importance to ignore the devil when he comes in, he (Satan) loves it when we acknowledge him, when we tell him where to go or simply try to justify anything he has said. If we can just pretend he (Satan) isn’t there we can gain the mastery over him, I believe this is one of the best ways to defeat him, he cannot delight if we haven’t ‘noticed’ he is there and we don’t need to ‘process’ his accusations and temptations anyway.
I pray you have received a blessing from today’s revelation and insight into the workings of the devil. Please friend, when you hear that voice in your ear, please, stop and listen, is it telling you the whole truth or only words to discourage you? Please friend, yes your path right now might be rocky, yes you may be feeling disheartened right now, but is that all you are hearing? Listen closer friends and you will hear Jesus.
